Central University of Haryana's 10th Convocation witnessed Bandaru Dattatraya, Governor of Haryana as the chief guest conferring degrees to 1338 university students.

Central University of Haryana (CUH), Mahendragarh organised its tenth convocation at the premises. Bandaru Dattatraya, Governor of Haryana was present as the Chief Guest and Prof. Raghvendra P. Tiwari, Vice-Chancellor of Central University of Punjab was the Guest of Honour of the event.

Chief Guest Bandaru Dattatraya extended his best wishes to all the students receiving their degrees saying "You are the present and the future of our nation". Further, he said that in today's era, it is not money but knowledge that is the greatest power for nation-building. He also urged the youth to become job providers rather than job seekers.  He emphasized that the global-level curricula introduced under the New Education Policy would help restore Indiaโ€™s legacy of knowledge and re-establish its glory. 

1338 Students Receive Degrees

The ceremony included a grant of PhD, MPhil, Graduate and Post-graduate degrees to 1338 students including 46 students getting gold medals. Among these, 192 students in B.Tech, Post-Graduate degrees to 990 students, while 83 students in B.Vo received degrees. PhD degree was awarded to 65 researchers and an MPhil to 8 researchers. Among 1338 students and researchers, 803 male and 535 female students were awarded degrees.

The Vice Chancellor of Central University of Punjab, Raghavendra Prasad Tiwari congratulated all the degree recipients and urged students to take a pledge for contribution towards building a new and ambitious India. Highlighting the progress of the university, he said that the institution is continuously advancing in its mission to nurture the students to make the best citizens of the country. The Vice-Chancellor cited that the university is boosting its scope through conferences, workshops, analysis projects, and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with foreign universities, ensuring academic, community, and national interests.
