NIRF 2025 Rankings: What’s New This Year?

The NIRF 2025 edition introduces some changes to its evaluation framework. A new category on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has been added, highlighting the importance of institutional commitment to global sustainability. Another major shift comes under the research component, where, for the first time, negative marking will be applied to retracted research papers. Alongside these additions, the framework also features updates to the existing evaluation process, making the NIRF 2025 rankings more comprehensive.
