Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant 2022 application form will be released on February 18 for 01/2023 batch. The last date to fill the application form is February 28. Earlier, the application form was scheduled to be released on February 16. The last date to apply for the exam was February 26. The application fee is INR 250 and can be paid online. SC/ST candidates are exempted from fee payment. This year, the Screening Test (Stage I) for selection of Assistant Commandant has been introduced which will be followed by Preliminary Selection Board (Stage-II) and Final Selection Board (Stage-III). The Stage I exam will be conducted by March end.

Candidates can apply for only one post in Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant recruitment such as either Assistant Commandant (GD) or Assistant Commandant {GD (P/N) or Assistant Commandant (Women-SSA) or Assistant Commandant (Tech(Engg) or Assistant Commandant (Tech(Elec)) or Assistant Commandant (CPL-SSA) or Assistant Commandant (Law). Maximum 5 per cent relaxation in aggregate in the degree certificate for SC/ST candidates. No relaxation is applicable for Class 12 marks except CPL-SSA entry.

Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant selection process comprises Stage I (Screening Test), Stage-II Preliminary Selection Board (PSB), Stage III Final Selection Board, Stage IV (Medical Exam), Stage V (Induction).
