AP PGLCET 2026 Notification (SOON) LIVE Updates: AP LAWCET Application Date @cets.apsche.ap.gov.in (SOON)

Candidates can check AP LAWCET 2026 syllabus section-wise here: 

1. Registration and payment of application fee - The candidate will be required to enter details like name, qualifying exam hall ticket number, mobile number, email id, and date of birth. Then, they have to select the stream and pay the application fee. 
2. Fill out the form - After the fee payment was done successfully, the candidate could proceed to fill in the rest of the application form - personal, academic, and contact details. Also, select a test center.
3. Upload documents - The candidate was required to upload a photograph and signature in JPG format. 

The APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education) is expected to release the AP LAWCET 2026 Notification regarding the application process soon. In the notification of APLAWCET, there will be the following details included, APLAWCET 2026 application date, last date of application, eligibility, and other dates related to the exam.

• Apply for AP PGLCET 2026 - Candidates need to apply for AP PGLCET 2026 for LLM admission at the official website. The application process includes registration, application fee payment, filling up personal and academic details, besides category and domicile information. The application process is completely online. 
• Download AP PGLCET admit card 2026 - Candidates who apply successfully for AP PGLCET 2026 will be issued hall tickets mentioning exam date and other details. Candidates need to download the admit card through the link given on the official website. 
• Appear for AP PGLCET exam - Candidates need to appear for AP PGLCET 2026 as per the schedule and at the allotted exam centre. The exam will tentatively be held in the third or fourth week of May 2026 in a Computer-Based Test mode. 
• AP PGLCET 2026 results and merit list - The exam authority will declare results for AP PGLCET 2026 on the official website in the third week of June 2026 (tentative date). The merit lists of AP PGLCET 2026 will also be released category-wise, mentioning marks and ranks of the qualified candidates on the same date. The merit list will be final for the admission seat allotment process.  
• AP PGLCET 2026 counselling - Candidates who name and ranks will be mentioned in the merit list are required to participate in the counselling process for final seat and college allotment. Candidates would be required to register for web-counselling, and then report at the allotted law college for verification of the documents and other admission formalities.

• AP LAWCET syllabus will help the candidates to understand the structure of the AP LAWCET question paper. The AP LAWCET 2026 question paper will have three sections - General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, and Aptitude for the Study of Law.
• The topics for AP PGLCET 2026 to study from each subject includes Constitutional law, Jurisprudence, Crimes and Torts, Public International law, Mercantile law, Labour laws, IPR as well as other laws apart from the following topics.

Candidates holding 3-year/5-year LLB Degree on the date of application and candidates who have appeared/appearing for 3 Year/5 Year LLB final year examination are also eligible. A candidate appearing for 3 Year/5 Year LLB degree examinations may take the APPGLCET in anticipation of results. However, the candidate should have passed the qualifying examination with required eligibility at the time of AP PGLCET admission/ counseling. 

The candidate should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy Local / Non-Local Status requirements as per the Government of Andhra Pradesh Orders for 2026-27. 

• 3-year LLB COURSE: The Candidates for 3 year LL.B. should have passed any Graduate Degree (10+2+3 pattern) of a recognized University or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Universities concerned with 45% of aggregate marks for general category, 42% for BC category and 40% for SC/ST. 
• 5-year LLB COURSE: The Candidates for 5 year LL.B. should have passed two year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or any other equivalent examination as recognized by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P. with 45% of aggregate marks for General category, 42% for BC category and 40% for SC/ST. 

AP LAWCET & AP PGLCET 2026 is conducted by Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh on behalf of A.P. State Council of Higher Education, Mangalagiri, for admission into first year of 5 Year LL.B./ 3 Year LL.B Courses and first year of Postgraduate Law course LL.M. /M.L. respectively offered by State Universities, their Departments or Constituent Colleges and Affiliated Colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2026-27.

Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Common Law Entrance Test (AP PGLCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) for admissions to LLM course.
