The Andhra Pradesh Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will start the AP LAWCET 2026 registration and AP PGLCET 2026 registration soon at cets.aspche.ap.gov.in for admission to 5-year integrated LLB, 3-year LLB, and LLM courses. AP LAWCET / PGLCET 2026 Application Form

The AP LAWCET 2026 application form will be released soon on the official LAWCET website of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The AP LAWCET exam dates have already been released. Registration for the AP LAWCET/PGLCET 2026 has yet to begin. 

The AP LAWCET 2026 exam date is May 4, 2026. The exam date of AP PGLCET 2026 was not released along with the APLAWCET. Check out the eligibility criteria for AP LAWCET 2026 and AP PGLCET 2026 here. The steps to fill out the AP LAWCET/PGLCET 2026 application form are also mentioned here.

AP LAWCET/PGLCET Eligibility Criteria 2026

To apply for AP LAWCET/PGLCET 2026, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for their respective law programme. Check out the eligibility criteria for AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET below: 

AP LAWCET and PGLCET Eligibility 2026

AP LAWCET

5-year LLB:

  • Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2 level) from any recognized board/council. 

  • The minimum qualifying marks required in the AP LAWCET 2026 is 45% for the General. The minimum qualifying marks for OBC and ST / ST categories are 42% and 40%, respectively. 

3-year LLB:

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree (10+2+3 pattern) in any stream from a recognised university with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST and 42% for OBC categories).

AP PGLCET

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB/BL) of 3 or 5 years duration from a recognised university.

  • Candidates who are in the final year of their LLB/BL degree programme can also appear for the exam, but must have completed the degree and fulfilled all university requirements before counseling.

  • A minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate is required for the LLB/BL degree for the General category to apply for AP PGLCET 2026.

  • Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and the Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories get a relaxation of 5% in the minimum marks requirement, meaning they need a minimum of 45% marks. The minimum qualifying marks for the OBC category is 42%.

    How to fill AP LAWCET Application Form 2026?

    1. Registration and payment of application fee - The candidate will be required to enter details like name, qualifying exam hall ticket number, mobile number, email id, and date of birth. Then, they have to select the stream and pay the application fee. 
    2. Fill out the form - After the fee payment was done successfully, the candidate could proceed to fill in the rest of the application form - personal, academic, and contact details. Also, select a test center.

    AP PGLCET Notification Live: Admission Process

    • Apply for AP PGLCET 2026 - Candidates need to apply for AP PGLCET 2026 for LLM admission at the official website. The application process includes registration, application fee payment, filling up personal and academic details, besides category and domicile information. The application process is completely online. 
    • Download AP PGLCET admit card 2026 - Candidates who apply successfully for AP PGLCET 2026 will be issued hall tickets mentioning exam date and other details. Candidates need to download the admit card through the link given on the official website. 
    • Appear for AP PGLCET exam - Candidates need to appear for AP PGLCET 2026 as per the schedule and at the allotted exam centre. The exam will tentatively be held in the third or fourth week of May 2026 in a Computer-Based Test mode. 
    • AP PGLCET 2026 results and merit list - The exam authority will declare results for AP PGLCET 2026 on the official website in the third week of June 2026 (tentative date). The merit lists of AP PGLCET 2026 will also be released category-wise, mentioning marks and ranks of the qualified candidates on the same date. The merit list will be final for the admission seat allotment process.  
    • AP PGLCET 2026 counselling - Candidates who name and ranks will be mentioned in the merit list are required to participate in the counselling process for final seat and college allotment. Candidates would be required to register for web-counselling, and then report at the allotted law college for verification of the documents and other admission formalities.
  • Q:   Do I need to send the application form of Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2026 in offline mode?
    A:

    No, candidates do not need to send their Andhra Pradesh LAWCET application form to the exam authority in offline mode. They can take printouts of the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2026 application form and keep a copy of the submitted application form with them for future references. The application form submitted online is sufficient for appearing in the examination. However, a printed copy of the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET application form 2026 will be required at the time of the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET admission process 2026 and Andhra Pradesh LAWCET counselling 2026.

Thereafter, there will be four more chances to AP LAWCET application form 2026 with late fees.
