MAT exam Sept 2026 PBT
AIMA MAT exam 2026 in PBT mode will be conducted today from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The MAT examination is expected to be of low difficulty level like previous sessions this year. MAT 2026 has already been conducted in February and May, in both PBT and CBT mode. For MAT September session PBT mode is being conducted today and CBT mode will be conducted on September 20.
MAT PBT mode exam will have five sections Language Comprehension, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills and Economic and Business Environment. All of them will have easy question. A few questions in Mathematical Skills and Economic and Business Environment can be moderately tough.
From May 2026 session, the score of Economic and Business Environment are being included in MAT percentile calculation, so candidates must not ignore this section.
MAT Exam Timings
Candidates who will be appearing for the exam today, must note that they need to reach their examination centre as per the reporting time mentioned in the MAT admit card 2026. If they reach late, the gates will be closed on them.

MAT Exam Pattern 2026 and Sectional Weightage
The MAT question paper 2026 of PBT mode exam will have 150 questions from five sections. Each section will have 30 MCQs. Check the below table for the break up:

Candidates must carry the following document to the MAT exam centre. These documents will be verified before entry.
