GPAT 2026 Exam: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will conduct the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) on March 7, 2026. This exam will be conducted for candidates seeking admission to postgraduate pharmacy programmes across India. Every year, thousands of pharmacy aspirants appear for the GPAT pharmacy entrance exam, which tests candidates’ knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences and related subjects. 

Appearing candidates are advised to carefully check GPAT 2026 exam timings, exam day instructions and important guidelines before appearing at the examination centre. Having the right understanding of the test day procedures will avoid any possibility of not appearing in the exams.

GPAT 2026 Exam Timings

 The GPAT 2026 exam will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode. The exam duration will be three hours, i.e. 9 AM to 12 Noon. 

 Students should reach the exam centre of GPAT 2026 at least one hour before the reporting time mentioned on their GPAT 2026 admit card. The board has specifically mentioned that latecomers will not be allowed to enter the examination premises. 

As far as the GPAT exam pattern is concerned, there will be 125 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Four marks will be awarded for each correct answer, and 1 mark will be deducted for any incorrect answer. 

GPAT 2026 Guidelines for Exam Day

Candidates appearing for the GPAT exam on March 7 have to follow several important GPAT 2026 guidelines as mentioned below: 

  • Carry the GPAT 2026 admit card along with a valid photo ID proof.
  • Reach the exam centre before the gate closing time.
  • Electronic devices are strictly prohibited.
  • Failure to follow the GPAT exam day instructions will lead to disqualification from the examination.

 With just two days left for the exam, students must make a smart revision strategy. Provided below are some useful GPAT 2026 last minute revision tips:
