MCC Extends NEET PG 2025 Resignation Deadline for Round 1 & 2; Deadline Set for December 26
MCC extends NEET PG 2025 seat resignation deadline for round 1 and 2 counselling process till December 26, 2025. Candidates must physically report to their allotted colleges for seat resignation process.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially extended the NEET PG 2025 seat resignation last date for the round 1 and round 2 counselling process. PG medical candidates who want to resign their round 1 or 2 seat as the state counselling results have been announced simultaneously, can do so before 6 PM on December 26, 2025. The decision to extend NEET PG 2025 seat resignation deadline has been made after getting multiple requests from PG medical students.
"MCC is in receipt of many requests from PG candidates who want to resign their Round1 or Round-2 seats since the state counselling results are being declared. In this regard, the competent authority has decided to extend the time of Resignation for such a candidate." The official notification reads.ย
Guidelines to Vacate NEET PG 2025 Seats
Students have to follow certain NEET PG 2025 seat resignation guidelines. The same has been mentioned below:ย
- Candidates who were freshly allotted seats in Round 2 and have already joined are eligible to resign. Further, those who were upgraded in Round 2 and joined their new college can also resign their seats.ย
- Candidates are required to report physically at their allotted medical college to complete the seat resignation formalities.
- Candidates must confirm that their Resignation Letter is generated online through the MCC portal by the college authorities.
- Candidates are advised to act promptly within the stipulated four-day window to avoid losing their security deposits or complicating their eligibility for future counselling rounds.ย
