NEET PG 2024 counselling registration for special stray vacancy round will be conducted between March 6 and March 8, 2025, for All India Quota seats for PG medical admissions across India. Candidates having NEET PG scores of over and above 5 percentile are eligilbe to apply for special stray vacancy round counselling process.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the NEET PG 2024 special stray vacancy round counselling dates on the official website. Students who have qualified the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduation (NEET PG) exam with over and above 5 percentile can appear for the counselling process. MCC is conducting the NEET PG counselling for admission to 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in all states along with 100% seats in central and deemed universities.
MCC will begin the NEET PG counselling registration 2024 for the special stray vacancy round between March 6 to 8, 2025. Interested and eligible students will have to visit NEET PG counselling website i.e. mcc.nic.in to submit their applications. The students who will complete the NEET PG 2024 counselling registration for the special stray vacancy round before the deadline will be able to fill their preferences. The MCC NEET PG 2024 choice-filling and locking for the special stray vacancy round will be conducted between March 6 to March 10, 2025.

NEET PG 2024 Stray Vacancy Round Admission Guidelines
MCC is conducting the NEET PG counselling process for the remaining seats in PG medical courses across India. The authorities have released several guidelines for the special stray vacancy round, which are provided below:
- Fresh Registration will be conducted for NEET PG 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Round and students will have to do Fresh Choice Filling for the Special Stray Vacancy Round.

All AIQ-registered candidates have to pay a refundable security deposit of INR 50,000 for government quota seats, while INR 3,00,000 have to be paid as a security deposit for the deemed university seats.
- Candidates participating in NEET PG 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Counselling Round will have to submit an undertaking concerning to allotment of seats at the time of the choice-filling process.
