Indian Air Force has announced the results of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 1 today. It is the exam to join as the Class-I Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. The exam was held on January 31, 2025, across multiple centers nationwide.
Steps to Download AFCAT 1 Results
Candidates need to follow these steps to download the results:
- Visit the official website at afcat.cdac.in.
- On homepage, applicants must enter their registered email ID and password
- The results will be displayed on screen that contains marks of candidates, normalized score and qualifying status for the next phase of the selection process.
Cut-off and Normalization
Indian Air Force uses a normalization method to ensure fair evaluation across different shifts of the online exam. The cut off along with the result can be accessed by logging with email ID, password, and captcha code. The cutoff is minimum qualifying mark that candidates need to secure in order to qualify in the AFCAT exam. Those who will secure the required cut off will be selected for the next phase of recruitment. The cut off of AFCAT is calculated based on Exam difficulty, Number of vacancies, Total marks, and Number of test-takers.
