CDS 1 2021 marks of recommended candidates have been released on March 30. The marks displays candidate’s name, roll number, marks obtained in SSB interview, written exam and total marks.

CDS 1 2021 Marks of Recommended Candidates

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released CDS 1 2021 marks of recommended candidates. The marks have been made available in PDF form. It displays candidate’s name, roll number, marks obtained in SSB interview, written exam and total marks. On the basis of CDS 1 2021 marks, candidates have been selected for admission in IMA, INA, AFA and OTA.

How to Check CDS 1 2021 Marks?

The steps to check the marks are given below:

Visit the official website of UPSC

Go to the 'What's New' section

Click the link ‘Marks of Recommended Candidates- Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2021’

Enter roll number and date of birth

The marksheet will appear on the screen

Download the marksheet and take its printout

CDS Result: Preparation of Merit List

  • UPSC prepares a list of candidates who get the minimum qualifying marks in the written exam decided by the commission
  • Candidates declared successful in the written exam are called for an intelligence and personality test
  • Candidates need to secure separate qualifying marks in the written exam and SSB Interview
  • The final merit list is prepared based on the total marks secured in the written exam and SSB Interview
  • The final selection is done based on their merit subjected to medical fitness and the number of vacancies

Calculation of CDS Marks

  • For the correct answer in each section of the test, candidates score one mark
  • For incorrect response, 1/3 marks are deducted
  • In case candidates mark more than one option in the test that will be treated as the wrong answer
  • The total score is calculated based on the number of correct and incorrect answers
