CSIR NET June 2026 Notification is expected to be released soon at the official website csirnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who wants to apply for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor posts can check expected dates, eligibility criteria, application process details.

National Testing Agency is expected to release the CSIR NET June 2026 Notification soon on official website. Once released, the candidates will be able to access the detailed notification PDF at csirnet.nta.nic.in.

NTA will also release the application form along with the notification. The PDF will have all the details related to the exam including syllabus, eligibility, dates, pattern etc.
CSIR NET exam is conducted for determining eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/Assistant Professor in science subjects. The examination is held in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode and covers five major subjects — Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences and Earth Sciences.

CSIR NET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Following are eligibility criteria for CSIR NET 2026:

• The age limit should be maximum 28 years for JRF as of January 1, 2026. Age relaxation of 3 years is applicable for 3 years, and for SC/ST/PwD, upto 5 years. For Lectureship (NET), there is no upper age limit.
• The candidates should have a M.Sc. or equivalent degree, 4-year BS, Integrated BS-MS, BE/B.Tech, B.Pharm, or MBBS from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% for General/OBC/EWS candidates and 50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

CSIR NET June 2026: Expected Application Dates

Although the official dates have not yet been announced, the CSIR NET June session notification is expected to be released in March 2026. The online application window is likely to remain open for approximately three to four weeks. Candidates will be required to register, fill in personal and academic details, upload scanned documents and pay the prescribed application fee before the last date.

Once the application form is out, candidates should follow these steps to apply for the exam:

• Visit at official website csirnet.nta.nic.in
• On homepage, click on the application form button
• Click on the new registration button
• Enter all details asked in the registration form
• Click on Submit
• Save system-generated application number and password
• Login to the registered account using the application number and password
• Fill in all details asked in the form
• Upload scanned images of photo and signature in JPG format
