CTET 2026: Candidates appearing for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 must ensure they carry all required documents to exam centre. CBSE has stated that entry to the exam hall will be allowed only if candidates carry all specified documents for verification. Those failing to produce required documents may not be allowed to appear for CTET 2026.
CTET: Mandatory Documents for All Candidatesย
Every CTET 2026 candidate must carry these documents on both exam days
CTET 2026 Admit Card
A printed copy of hall ticket. Digital copies will not be accepted.
Valid Photo Identity Proof
Any one original photo ID issued by government, such as
- Aadhaar Card
- Voter ID
- Passport
- Driving Licence
- PAN Card
The name on ID proof must match name mentioned on the CTET admit card.
Photograph Requirements
Candidates must also carry one or two passport-size photographs, same as those uploaded in CTET application form. These may be required for verification purposes at exam centre.
Documents for PwBD Candidates
Candidates belonging to Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) category must carry additional documents, if applicable:
PwBD Certificate issued on the prescribed proforma under the RPwD Act, 2016
UDID Card, if available
Scribe-related documents, including a declaration form for candidates opting for a scribe or compensatory time

Important Instructions to be followed at CTET 2026 Exam Centreย
- Entry to exam centre will be allowed only within reporting time mentioned on CTET admit card.
- Candidates are advised to reach centre well in advance to avoid last minute issues.
- No prohibited items such as mobile phones, smart watches, calculators or study material are allowed inside exam hall.
The Central Board of Secondary Education iwill conduct CTET exam on February 7 & 8, 2026. The 21st edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test will be held offline.
