CTET Paper 2 Updates: The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2026 Paper 2 exam could not be conducted at two centres located in Vaishali district (Hajipur), Bihar, due to unavoidable circumstances. The affected centres are ST. John’s Academy, Basmati Nagar (Centre Code: 125016) and Lakshya International Academy (Centre Code: 125014).
Hence, candidates allotted to these two centres were unable to appear for CTET paper 2 as scheduled. According to official statement, CTET Paper 2 exam was planned across 1,803 centres nationwide, and barring the two centres in Vaishali. Authorities emphasised that the issue was localised and did not impact overall conduct of CTET 2026.
CTET Paper 2 Exam Within 15 Days
To ensure that no candidate is disadvantaged, CBSE has announced that CTET re-exam 2026 will be conducted within 15 days for candidates who were allotted to two affected centres. Revised CTET 2026 schedule for paper 2 will be communicated separately to concerned candidates through official website. Candidates have been advised to regularly check official website. CTET is an eligibility test for candidates willing to become teachers in government and government-aided schools across the country.

With conduction of exam it is likely that CTET 2026 answer key for paper 1 and 2 will be released soon. However, it is expected that once re-exam gets over, CBSE will be releasing provisional CTET answer key then.
