CTET Day 2 Exam Today for Paper I & II; Check Timings & Guidelines

CTET 2026 Exam: Central Board of Secondary Education is conducting Day 2 of Central Teacher Eligibility Test 2026 today, February 8. Candidates appearing for Paper I and II are advised to follow reporting time, exam schedule and guidelines mentioned on their CTET admit cards to avoid last-minute issues. This time, CTET February exam is being held over two days to ensure smooth conduct for large number of applicants.
CTET admit cards have already been released on official website, and entry to exam centre is allowed only with valid documents. They must note that CTET 2026 exam is held in offline mode (pen-and-paper based). Candidates have to mark their answers on OMR answer sheet provided at exam centre.
CTET Day 2 Exam Timings 2026
On Day 2, exam is being conducted in two shifts:
Paper II (Classes 6 to 8): Morning Shift
- Reporting Time: 7:30 am
- Entry Gate Closes: 9:30 am
- Exam Time: 9:30 am to 12:00 noon
Paper I (Classes 1 to 5): Afternoon Shift
- Reporting Time: 12:30 pm
- Entry Gate Closes: 2:30 pm
- Exam Time: 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm
Candidates reaching exam centre after the gate closing time will not be allowed to enter under any circumstances.
Documents Required at CTET Exam Centre
Candidates must carry these items to CTET exam centre
- Printed copy of CTET Admit Card 2026
- A valid photo ID, such as Aadhaar card, passport, voter ID, PAN card, or driving licence
- A passport-size photograph, if required as per admit card instructions
Important CTET Exam Day Guidelines
CBSE has issued instructions for all candidates
- Electronic items such as mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, Bluetooth devices, or any communication gadgets are prohibited.
- Candidates are not allowed to carry books, notes, written material or any unfair means.
- They must follow all instructions given by invigilators during the exam.
- Violation of rules may lead to cancellation of candidature.
Candidates with benchmark disabilities who have submitted valid certificates during registration are being provided facilities such as extra time, scribes, and ground-floor seating, as per CBSE.
