The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to announce the result for the February session of the CTET 2026 exam soon. It will be released on the official website at ctet.nic.in. The exam for both papers that is Paper 1 and 2 was conducted on February 7 and 8 in two shifts on each day. Candidates will be able to download the CTET result 2026 by using their login credentials including the Application number/ Roll Number and Date of Birth or password. 
The CTET exam carries 150 marks where the general category candidates need 90 marks to pass the exam and the reserved categories need to secure 82 marks to qualify the exam. Those candidates who will clear the CTET Paper 1 will be eligible to teach students for classes 1 to 5 and those who clear the CTET paper 2 will be able to teach students for classes 6 to 8. The certificate of the CTET serves as the minimum qualification that is required for a teaching job. Scroll down for more details.

The CTET result is not released based on the provisional answer key. The CTET final answer key is the basis for result declaration. The CBSE announced the result based on the final corrected answers given by subject matter experts after analyzing the objections.

A: 
The CTET qualifying marks for the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category is 55 per cent. OBC candidates need to obtain 82 marks out of the total 150 marks to qualify the exam. A 81 mark scorer OBC candidate will fail to clear the exam.
