The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is conducting IBPS Clerk 2021 prelims exam. The exam is being conducted online across multiple exam centres spread throughout the country in four shifts. According to the feedback shared by the students, the overall difficulty level of the paper was easy to moderate. The English Language and Reasoning sections were easy. The Quantitative Aptitude section was moderate.

IBPS Clerk 2021 prelims exam pattern is divided into three sections- English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. A total of 100 questions were asked. The total duration of the exam was 60 minutes. The total marks allotted to the IBPS Clerk exam are 100 marks.

IBPS Clerk 2021 Prelims Exam Analysis & Student Reaction (December 18)

Shiksha visited one of the exam centres of IBPS Clerk 2021 exam on December 18 to gather feedback regarding the overall difficulty level of the exam. Read below the feedback shared by the students:

Viswajit Shivsagar said, "The paper was moderate and time-taking. The English section was easy. The Maths and Reasoning sections were time-taking."

Ashutosh Dubey said, "The overall paper of IBPS Clerk 2021 exam was of moderate level. The English section was easy where the Maths and Reasoning sections were time-consuming."

Pooja said, "The paper was easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level. In Quant, maximum questions were asked from Simplification, Number Series and the rest were Arithmetic. In Reasoning, there were three to four Puzzles, Syllogism, Inequality. The Reasoning section was easy. In English, questions were asked from Reading Comprehension and this section was easy. The Quant section was calculative."

Vishal Kumar said, "The level of the paper was tough. The Maths section was difficult whereas, English and Reasoning sections were easy to moderate. In Quant, maximum questions were asked from Probability."

Manisha Pant said, β€œThe overall difficulty level of the paper was easy to moderate. I found the Quant section to be moderate. Questions were asked about Data Interpretation, Wrong Number Series, Simplification, and Arithmetic. Most of the questions in this section were asked from Arithmetic.”

Vishal Jaiswal said, β€œThe overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate. The English Language section was easy, Reasoning section was easy, and Quantitative Aptitude section was moderate.”

Shubham Shah said, β€œThe overall difficulty level of the exam was easy to moderate. Questions in the Reasoning section were asked from Puzzles and Seating Arrangement, Syllogism, Inequalities, Alphanumeric Series, Word Sequencing, and Order & Ranking. Questions in the Quantitative Aptitude section were asked about Data Interpretation, Wrong Number Series, Simplification and Arithmetic. Questions in the English Language were asked from Reading Comprehension, Para Jumbles, Error Detection, Sentence Rearrangement, etc.”
