Further, they need to enter their Registration Number/Roll Number and Password/ Date of Birth to download IBPS PO 2025 prelims result.
As per media updates, the IBPS PO prelims result will be released in September 2025. Also, since the IBPS PO Main exam is scheduled to be held on October 12, it can be expected that IBPS PO result for prelims exam can be released soon. IBPS PO 2025 Mains Exam
The IBPS PO Mains exam 2025 will be conducted on October 12. Only those candidates who have qualified in the prelims will be eligible to appear for the IBPS PO mains exam. As per the exam pattern, the IBPS PO main exam will have objective and descriptive-type questions. The exam is conducted for a total of 225.
The Institute of Banking and Personnel conducted the IBPS PO 2025 prelims exam on August 23 and 24. The IBPS PO 2025 prelims result was released on September 26, 2025. The main exam was held on October 12, 2025.
The IBPS PO 2025 online applications started on July 1, 2025.
After clearing the online tests of IBPS PO exam, candidates are called to participate in a Personal Interview with a panel of experts. This interview assess the overall suitability for the position of probationary officer, and include questions about their qualifications, work experience, and personal characteristics. After the Personal Interview a merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the Mains exam and interview. Candidates who are placed in the merit list are eligible for appointment as a probationary officer in the participating banks. Candidates should note the letter of appointment is issued by the participating banks. Allotment of candidates is done based on merit-cum-preference.
