RRB Group D 2026 Application Last Date To Apply Extended To March 9

In a significant update, the application window for the RRB Group D 2026 recruitment under CEN No. 09/2025 has been extended to March 9, 2026. The candidates who want to apply for the 22,195 Level 1 posts in Indian Railways must note the revised deadlines and key application guidelines here.

The Railway Recruitment Board has extended the application window for the RRB Group D 2026 registration to March 9, 2026. Now, candidates have more time in hand to apply for 22,195 Level 1 posts in Indian Railways.

Earlier, March 2, was the last date for registration. The candidates can apply at the official website - rrbapply.gov.in. The last date has been extended to include a larger pool of candidates who could have missed the opportunity or might have face technical issues earlier.

To complete the application form, the candidates must enter all the required information, upload the documents including signature and photograph, and pay the application fee.

RRB Group D 2026 Registration Details

The selection process includes a Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and DV and Medical Test. The vacancies are for Track Maintainer, Pointsman and Assistant roles that comes under Level 1 posts. The application fee for OBC candidates is INR 500, and INR 400 will be refunded after the CBT exam. For other categories including  SC, ST, PwBD, minority, female and economically backward categories, the RRB Group D application fee is INR 250, and this entire amount will be refunded after the exam.
Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying. They must be in age group between 18 to 33 years on January 1, 2026. The last date to pay the payment is March 4, 2026. The candidates should be Class 10 pass from a recognized board and hold an ITI certificate in relevant trades.
