SSC Stenographer result 2019 for skill test will be announced on March 10. The result will be made available on the official website in PDF form. Qualified candidates will have to undergo document verification before final selection.

In the skill test, candidates are given one dictation for 10 minutes in English or Hindi (as opted by the candidates in the online application form) at the speed of 100 word per minute (wpm) for the post of Stenographer Grade C and 80 wpm for the post of Stenographer Grade D. Skill Test is mandatory but qualifying in nature. The Commission will fix category-wise qualifying standard in the Skill Test for each post. The candidates who qualify the Skill Test will be considered for final selection on basis of their merit in the Computer Based Examination.

All the candidates qualified for document verification are required to appear for the exam along with the photocopies and original documents. Detailed options for various posts and departments will be taken from candidates either online or at the time of document verification.

Final selection and allocation of ministries/ departments will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in the computer based examination and the preference of posts/ departments exercised by them at the time of document verification.
