Apeejay Stya University's School of Pharmaceutical Sciences is mostly regarded as a Tier 2 college. It is known to impart a good quality of education and a research-oriented curriculum in pharmaceutical sciences but is not considered on par with NIPERs or ICT Mumbai in competition among the best institutes in India. All in all, this university is good for students aspiring to a career in pharmaceuticals considering the very good focus on practical training, industry tie-ups, and overall learning experience. The institute is still trying to build its reputation and offers average opportunities of academic and professional growth.

Apeejay Stya University School of Legal Studies is a Second-tier law school. Academic programme offerings are quite good. A modern campus is equipped, but it could never match the Tier 1 law schools in the country, such as the National law universities. The school actually provides good opportunities for legal studies, practical training, and placement support. So, basically, this is a Tier-2 school known as the School of Legal Studies, Apeejay Stya University. It has an excellent set of academic programs along with well-maintained campus facilities; but on that scale of mass recognition or ranking, it does not score anywhere near that of Tier-1 law schools across India, including National Law Universities (NLUs). That said, it could be construed as one of the better ones offering decent opportunities in legal education, practical training, and placement.
