Animated films in vogue these days

Last year, we had covered how Shahrukh Khan's sci-fi flick, Ra.One had hit the box office. With one of the biggest budgets of about 150 crore rupees, the visual effects for this Indian movie were supervised by Jeff Kleiser with help from Arjun Mehta and Snehil Pandey. Read more about Ra.One
Now, Rajinikanth is taking a shot at animation movies with his Kochadaiyaan - The Legend. The superstar is playing a period warrior in the movie which is being directed by his younger daughter Soundarya R. Ashwin.
Using cutting-edge 3D animation where photorealistic technology is used to capture performance, Kochadaiyaan is a fantasy movie. Deepika Padukone is playing the lead role in the movie. Scheduled to be released on November 13 this year, the movie will be released in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, and Japanese. Know more about movie release

Ace director and cinematographer, Govind Nihalani, has also released his first animated film about a baby camel from the deserts of Rajasthan worldwide. The movie is called ‘Kamly Happy Happy'. Made for the international markets, this movie is a dramatic, contemporary fable. He used American voice artistes to dub the dialogues in English and may use Indian celebrities to dub the dialogues for movie's Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions. More about Kamlu Happy Happy
