Indian Animation Institute bags top Asian award

Making inroads into Bollywood with the opportunity to work in an upcoming 3D animation movie ‘Dots’ is not the only high point for Suresh Kovvuri of ‘Creative Mentors’. The institute has gone on to win the Best Excellence award in Animation and Gaming Education by Brand Academy and Big Brands Research.

MD of Creative Mentors, Kovvuri was honoured with Asia’s Premier award at New Delhi, last Saturday.

A qualified mechanical engineer, Kovvuri is an avid gamer since childhood and always aspired to open an animation school. Well! Going by the recent developments, he not only succeeded in setting up his animation school but also won national acclaim for it.

Kovvuri, who learnt the tricks of animating during his various stints with Satyam Animation, DQ, Synergy Images and Crest Animation, is also opening a new branch in Madhapur.

He has worked for big names like Disney, Mike Young Production that produces children’s TV series, Nick--American satellite network and National Geographic Channel Germany. His impressive clientele speaks of ‘Creative Mentors’ as one of the most sought after schools in terms of animation.
