Comic Design entails drawing and storytelling
Comic Design is a part of illustration. It is a work of creativity, where animators and fine artists work with writers, editors and art directors to understand the nature and content of artwork that they need to produce. Comic books like Diamond comics, Amar Chitra Katha or comic strips in newspapers like 'Garfield' are some of comic designs that grip the fantasies of kids and adults alike.
A career in Comic Design is about drawing as well as storytelling. You need to develop characters, know how to tell your or others' stories through storyboards and learn to create plots. Line, colors and compositions form an important part of comic designing.

Besides artistic skills, a comic designer also needs to be an attentive listener to understand what is required, should have good reading comprehension, and should be able to work independently while managing their time well.
