What is NAT?
Conducted by the Society for Research & Development in Education (SRDE), Delhi, NAT (National Aptitude Test) is a Common Entrance Exam-cum-Aptitude Test. Aspirants at the Under Graduate (NAT-UG) and the Post Graduate (NAT-PG) levels seeking admission into management and other related programmes can take this exam.

Who can apply?
- NAT-UG:
- 10+2 pass-outs from any stream under recognized State board.
- Also, applicants currently appearing for the final exam can apply.
- NAT-PG:
- Aspirants who have passed or appeared/ are going to appear in the final year of the graduate degree courses of UGC /AICTE recognized Universities can apply.
What is the NAT exam pattern like?
The exam comprises of five sections in total, namely:
- English Language Comprehension
- Socio-Economic Environment
- Quantitative Skills
- Intelligence & Critical Reasoning
- Data Analysis
All the five sections hold 40 marks each. The duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
The NAT results are valid for a period of one year. Know More about NAT 2012.
