CAP schedule for statewide engg admissions
With the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) announcing the admission schedule for statewide engineering admissions, sale of online application forms at application receipt centres (ARCs) in Nagpur has already begun and the first merit list is expected to be out on June 19. The admission procedure this year will be administered under the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
Students need to follow a three-step procedure to participate in CAP:
- Online form filling: Every candidate has to fill details on the website and then take a printout of this form. In case if the candidate doesn't have access to internet or is unable to fill in the form, he/she can fill in the form from any ARC and take a printout from there itself.
- Form submission: The students must then submit it at the nearest ARC along with an attested printout of MT-CET marksheet.
- Fill up pro forma-I available in the MT-CET booklet to be received from ARC during registration. Submit forms to an officer who registers and confirms his/her application on a special link provided to the ARC by DTE.
Documents required:
- Mark sheet of Std X & XII
- School leaving certificate mentioning place of birth and nationality of the candidate
- Scorecard of JEE mains if the candidate has appeared for it
- The candidates are also expected to submit a domicile stating their nationality as Indian
- If a candidate has the official domicile, he/she has to submit pro forma-I on a blank sheet of paper but if he/she does not own any domicile or proof of nationality, he/she has to submit the pro forma-I on a stamp paper.
