CAT Results: Engineers dominate 100 percentile score

With CAT 2012 exam results declared today, 10 young management aspirants have joined the ranks of top scorers with a perfect 100 percentile at CAT. While IITians continue to lead the way, one of these 10 top scorers is an undergraduate science student at Delhi University.

Just missing the top slot, four undergraduate girls have finished close with 99.99 percentile. Engineering background remains the common thread for all these high scorers.  

According to ET news report, 255 girls and 1640 boys reached the 99 percentile score at CAT 2012. Boasting the highest share of these 99 percentile scorers is Mumbai (180 candidates), followed by Delhi (168), Bangalore (157), Hyderabad (105), Kolkata (92) and Chennai (85).

CAT 2012 results were declared at 3 am today (January 9). But majority of students trying to access the results were delayed by over an hour due to technical glitch.
