NMIMS' Centre of Excellence in Analytics Data Science Opens Admissions for MBA Business Analytics

November 19, 2020: The NMIMS Centre of Excellence in Analytics & Data Science opened admission to its prestigious MBA (Business Analytics) programme in Mumbai. Students may register for a two-year course before December 14. The course, established in collaboration with NMIMS faculty and industry experts, aims at inculcating critical thought with managerial preparation. It caters to the high demand for expertise in business analytics by management graduates in the current unpredictable global economy. Industry-focused pedagogy focuses on delivering a real-world experience in a multi-faceted market relationship.

The programme is expected to address the high demand for business analytics in the corporate world. According to one report, business analytics was one of the fastest-growing domains in 2019-20 with a rise of 19 per cent over the previous year. Although a contraction of employment across sectors has been triggered by the current pandemic, statistics from many job portals reveal that the business analytics is one of the few job fields that is still in very high demand.

The programme includes courses in Information Management, Advanced Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Visualisation and Reporting.

Eligibility: Candidates must be graduates in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Commerce with a minimum of 55 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognised university. Candidate with a minimum one year of experience will be given preference.

Admission Process: To apply, candidates must first register at NMAT by GMAC and then apply at NMIMS. Applicants must file their application for NMIMS before their NMAT exam date. For more details, visit https://nmat.nmims.edu
