CMDPGEE 2013 Exam - Combined Medical & Dental Postgraduate Entrance Examination 2013

A combined entrance test, CMDPGEE (Combined Medical & Dental Postgraduate Entrance Examination) is conducted by Association of Combined Entrance Examination (ACEE) for admission to Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctor of Medicine (M.D)/Master of Surgery (M.S) programs offered at Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute Of Medical Health Sciences, Seema Dental College and Hospital, Rishikesh and Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Ayurveda program offered at Uttaranchal Ayurvedic College in various subjects.

CMDPGEE 2013 entrance exam for MD/MS and MDS programs will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2013 while the exam for the Ayurveda program is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, July 28, 2013.

Eligibility criteria:

MD/MS

· The candidate must be an Indian national.
· A candidate, who holds MBBS degree from a medical college recognized by medical council of india (MCI) or a foreign medical degree included in the schedules of the Indian medical council act, 1956 and who has obtained permanent registration either from the medical council of india or any of the state medical councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination. Compulsory rotating internship must be completed in a recognized medical college.
· The candidates who have obtained their MBBS degree from the medical colleges which are not recognized by MCI shall not be eligible.
· However, a candidate who, after passing the final qualifying examination (MBBS or equivalent foreign medical degree recognized by MCI, is undergoing 12month compulsory rotating internship/ practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st march 2013 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained fill registration on or before 31st march 2013 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of institution that he/she will be completing internship by 31st march 2013.
· Those candidates who are undergoing 12 month compulsory rotating internship and whose internship is likely to be completed on or before 31st march 2013 shall have to furnish a certificate from the principal/dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of internship at the time of counseling.
· Registration with MCI/State Medical Council is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counseling.

MDS

· The candidate must be an Indian national.
· A candidate, who holds BDS degree from a dental college recognized by Dental council of india (DCI) and who has obtained full registration from the dental council of india or any of the state dental councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination. Compulsory rotating internship must be completed in a recognized dental college.
· The candidates who have obtained their BDS degree from the Dental colleges which are not recognized by DCI shall not be eligible.
· However, a candidate who, after passing the final qualifying examination (BDS recognized by DCI), is undergoing a 12 - month compulsory rotating internship/ practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st march 2013 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained fill registration on or before 31st march 2013 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of institution that he/she will be completing internship by 31st march 2013.
· Those candidates who are undergoing 12 - month compulsory rotating internship and whose internship is likely to be completed on or before 31st march 2013 shall have to furnish a certificate from the principal/dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of internship at the time of counseling.
· The cut-off date for the registration of the Dental colleges from where the candidates have passed their BDS degree course and completed compulsory rotating internship/practical training for 2013 will be 31st October 2012. The dental colleges recognized after this date will not be considered.
· Registration with DCI/state Dental Council is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counseling.

MD Ayurveda:

· The candidate must be an Indian National.
· A candidate, who holds passed BAMS degree from any Ayurvedic college recognized by CCIM and who has registered from the CCIM to practice or any State Board after completing compulsory rotatory internship shall be eligible to appear in entrance examination.
· However, a candidate who, after passing the final qualifying examination (BAMS recognized by CCIM), is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotating internship/practical training and is likely to complete the same by 30th June, 2013 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained full registration on or before 30th June, 2013 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of Institution that he/she will be completing internship by 30th June, 2013.
· Registration with CCIM/Indian Medicine Board is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counseling.
