The Directorate of School Education will set up a new digital studio in the Jammu Division for teachers. As per the senior officials of the directorate, the digital studio is being set up to deliver online lectures.  Anuradha Gupta, Director of School Education Jammu, said that the Union Education Ministry sanctioned the establishment of the digital studio under the Samagra Shiksha Scheme. She added that the directorate will be setting up the studio soon and in order to improve the quality of education and in order to make learning more efficient and effective online various measures are to be taken.

She further added that the provision of the best online lectures through a control room at a studio will soon be made possible. Considering the National Education Policy 2020 for the art integrated learning and holistic development of the school children it is necessary that the students be exposed to art, culture, sports, and other activities as part of the curriculum.

The Directorate of School Education also stated that information technology-enabled platforms are becoming an important medium for information dissemination; it will continue to be the same after COVID and also intends to use social media platforms to connect with the students, parents, staff members, and others on an effective way and provide a platform to showcase their talent.
