FIITJEE - One of India's leading institutes for engineering entrance training will hold its annual talent support exam on September 24, 2013. Students securing a rank in the top 300 will receive a certificate of achievement along with an annual talent support exam, together known as FTSE - FIITJEE Talent Support Exam. The exam aims at helping these selected students prepare for IIT JEE 2014 even without officially joining FIITJEE.

Besides this, in an effort to support these 300 meritorious students and relieve them of the financial hurdle, FIITJEE will offer Cash Scholarships* + Tuition Fee Waivers for FIITJEE Program# (ICP) + Hostel Fee Waivers on the basis of their performance in the exam.

Students for this will be selected on the basis of the aggregate marks in the Exam - total of marks in IQ, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, a common merit list will be prepared. Any student who fails to clear the individual subject cut-off marks and also the total cut-off marks will not qualify for the merit list.

FIITJEE will conduct its annual talent support exam on September 22, 2013. The result for the same will be declared on September 27, 2013.

Eligibility: All Aspirants of IIT-JEE, 2014 (XII Studying / Pass Students)  

Exam pattern:

  • The exam will have objective type questions from four different sections i.e. IQ, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. The exam will be conducted from 9:30 a.m from 1:00 pm.
  • The IQ section will have around 30 questions and there will be negative marking for wrong answers.
  • Each section of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics will have around 15 to 20 questions comprising Numerical based; Linked Comprehension (Paragraph) based questions, multiple choice questions with single correct and multiple correct answers. There will be negative marking in MCQ single correct & Linked Comprehension (Paragraph) based questions. However, there will be no negative marking Numerical based & MCQ Multiple correct questions.

 

The syllabus of the exam will be strictly according to the IIT-JEE syllabi.

  • Rs. 200/- Registration Fee (inclusive of Service Tax) to be paid in Cash or by Demand Draft / Pay Order.
  • No Registration Fee for Students currently enrolled in any FIITJEE program for IIT-JEE, 2014. Photocopy of FIITJEE identity card /proof of enrolment is must along with the Paper Application Form.
  • No Registration Fee for Students who are NTSE scholars, KVPY Stage-I qualified or have qualified any of the stages of Jr. Science Olympiad or Sr. Olympiads (in Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Astronomy) conducted by HBCSE.
