GATE 2014: Results expected on March 28, 2014
The result for GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2014 exam is likely to be announced on March 28, 2014. The exam which will be held February 1 and March 2, 2014(Saturdays and Sundays) is jointly conducted by seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee) and Indian Institute of Science.
GATE scores are used for admissions to various post-graduate programs like Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, Doctor of Philosophy etc in higher education institutes in India.
It was announced recently, that GATE scores will also be used by PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) for recruitment of graduates in entry-level positions.
