Instrumentation engineering is a multi-disciplinary stream that covers subjects from various engineering branches like mechanical, chemical, electrical, computers and electronics. As a subject in GATE 2014, Instrumentation Engineering is divided into two parts - Engineering Mathematics and Instrumentation Engineering.
Engineering Mathematics includes topics like Differential equations, Complex variables, Calculus, Numerical Methods and Transform Theory.
