Students seeking admission to MD/MS and MDS programs at K.S Hegde Medical Academy and A.B Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences for the academic year 2013-14 can take the NITTE University All India Entrance Test for Post Graduate Medical and Dental Courses conducted by NITTE University (NUPGET). The exam is scheduled to be conducted at January 6, 2013.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidate must be a citizen of India
- He/she must have studied and passed courses leading to the award of Bachelor's degree (MBBS or BDS as the case may be) from a college recognised by the MCI for MD/MS candidates and DCI for MDS candidates.
- He/she has completed or is completing compulsory rotatory internship on or before April 30, 2013
- Must be less than 45 years of age as on April 30, 2013
Note: Applications are liable for rejection if:
- Incomplete
- Received after the last date
- Not signed by the candidate himself/herself wherever signature of the candidate appears
- Photographs are not of recent origin
Pattern/Structure:
The NUPGET will be conducted in English and each question for the same will carry one mark. Every correct answer will be awarded one mark; however, there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
It’s a three-hour long paper comprising 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs).
There will be at least 4 versions of the question paper booklet. The answer sheet (Response Sheet) will be of Optical Mark Reader (OMR) type and will be marked as per instructions on it.
