GSEB Class XII 2018: Know Toppers
The Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board (GHSEB) class XII results in science stream got declared on Thursday May 10 along with the GUJCET results 2018. As per media reports, 72.99% students have cleared the examination this year. Gujarat Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama also announced the list of toppers in Gujarat Board exams while addressing the media personnel at a press conference, which was held on Thursday morning.
Aanshi Patwari, a student of Nirman High School, secured 99.92 per cent marks and bagged the first position. Aanshi also secured 99.38 percent in GUJCET 2018, the results for which were aired on the same day. She was followed by Heet Manvar and Dhairya Shah from Diwan Ballubhai School, who scored 99.89 and 99.75 per cent and stand on second and third position simultaneously in the Gujarat state board class XII science stream exam results which were announced on Thursday.
A number of candidates who appeared for GSEB class XII exams also took GUJCET and came out to score well in both the examinations. Shrut Shah who scored 99.08 percent in class XII exams also secured 117.5 marks in GUJCET 2018, while Sharvil Patel who stands on ninth position with 98.67 percent marks in GSEB exams, secured 95.67 in GUJCET. Both of them want to pursue Btech in Computer Science and IT from a reputed engineering institute in Gujarat.
The toppers also shared their mantra to crack the exam with flying colors. While most of the toppers chose to stay away from social media, Varshil Shah who scored 98.79 says that he was full-fledged active on social networks. According to him, social media was a stress buster in between his preparation time which made him secure a good percentage.
According to the information, as many as 42 schools recorded 100 per cent results in GSEB class XII results. This year, the count took a dip from 118 to 100 in getting 100 per cent results as compared to last year.

GSEB or Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board conducts Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) board exams for Class X and XII students, respectively. The results for class XII science stream have been successfully announced. SSC exams for Class X were conducted from March 12 – 23, 2018. The exam results for Class X along with the other streams of Class XII will be announced in due time.
