JEE Advanced Result declared!

The result for JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced 2013 exam, conducted on June 2, 2013, has been declared. Expected to be declared on June 23, the result was announced two days in advance. Students can click on this link to check their results.

Despite the results being declared early, the filling of courses will commence only from June 24.Dr HC Gupta, organising chairman, JEE (Advanced) 2013, said " We want to give more time to the students to decide on the courses " reported a national daily.

The result to be announced will showcase the Common Merit List (CML) prepared on the basis of the performance in the JEE (Advanced) 2013. Candidates must score at least 10% in each subject and 35% in aggregate in order to figure in the CML. In case of a tie-breaker will be as followed: Higher rank for higher marks in Mathematics, followed by marks in Physics and same rank in case both the candidates have the same marks in each of the three subjects.

Besides being a stepping stone to enter the premier IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) and ISM - Dhanbad, JEE Advances will open doors for students seeking admission in institutes like Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology - Rae Bareli, Indian Institute of Science Education Research, Indian Institute of Science- Bangalore and Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology.
