JEE online mock test in January
Aspirants preparing for the all new Joint Entrance Exam (Main) 2013 will be able to take a mock version of the computer-based test in the month of January. JEE (Main) is scheduled to be conducted in April 2013 in two phases - pen-paper and an online exam. It has replaced the All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) and will be the first stage entrance test for admission to the esteemed IITs.
The candidates will be able take the mock test in the first/ second week of January 2013. The last date for registration is December 15, 2012. Nevertheless, candidates do have an option of appearing for either the online exam or the computerised version of the exam.
Aspirants taking the computerised version of the exam will have an option of changing their answers at any point during the three-hour exam or mark an answer for review at a later stage. Besides this, CBSE has also decided to display the particulars of the JEE Main aspirants on the website (www.jeemain.nic.in), in the second week of January. The initiative is expected to help rectify any mistakes made by candidates while filling particulars in their online registration form.
Backing this up, CBSE has organised for ‘'facilitation centers’’ to assist candidates fill up their forms online. A list of 43 centres across the country has been announced.
The online registration form is available on JEE Main website from November 8 to December 15.
