JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam

Jawaharlal Institute of Post – Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) will be conducting its own entrance exam on June 2, 2013 between 10 am and 12.30 pm for admission to MBBS courses offered at the institute.

Eligibility:

• The Secondary / Higher Secondary /Indian School Certificate Examination considered equivalent to 10+2 exam taken after 12 years of study, of which two last years’ study must have comprised Chemistry, Physics, Biology / Mathematics and Bio – Technology
• Candidates must have qualified English as one of the electives
• The minimum aggregate that must have been scored by the candidate to be eligible under Eligibility Criteria in the above mentioned subject combination is 50% (GEN) and 40% (OPH/OBC/ST/SC).
• The general category OPH candidates will have to score a minimum aggregate of 45% to be declared eligible as per Eligibility Criteria of JIPMER 2013.
• The candidates who have passed any exam other than the list of exams specified in the brochure of JIPMER 2013 have to submit an Eligibility Certificate which has been obtained from Association of Indian Universities at New Delhi.

Exam centers:

Aspirants can select only one center amongst the following:

Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Guwahati, Jaipur, Kolkata, New Delhi, Puducherry, Pune, Thiruvananthapuram, Trichy, Vijayawada

Reservation of seats:

Note: 3% of the above mentioned seats will be reserved for the OPH Candidates
