Karnataka Bank Ltd, a leading private sector bank with a pan-India footprint has given an opportunity to young dynamic individuals to join the reputed bank as officers and Clerks to be positioned at its branches across India. The national level online test for the ‘Officers Post’ is to take place on April 21, 2013 and the exam for the ‘Clerical post’ will be held on April 13, 2013.

Officers (Scale-I) Test

Eligibility: Candidates appearing for the test for the post of Officer must be of age below 30 years as on 1 February 2013. The age limit will be relaxed by 5 years for SC/ ST candidates. Candidates must be Post Graduates in any discipline (Excluding PG Diplomas) or Graduates in Engineering or Agricultural Sciences or Law.

Application Fee:  Rs. 200/- (Rs.150/- in the case of SC/ST candidates)

Online Exam Format:

The Online Examination for the post of Officer will comprise the following Objective type multiple choice test as stated below:

 Post: Officers (Scale-I)

Pay Scale for Karnataka Bank Recruitment of Officers (Scale-I) 2013:- Rs. 31450/- per month.

Selection Procedure: The applicants will be selected on the basis of Online Test and Interview.

Important Note: Candidates have to bring their call letter along with their photo identity proof in original as well as photocopy while attending the online examination/interview and will have to submit photocopy of the photo identity proof. Candidates should also take the print out of the system generated application form after online submission and retain it to be produced if called for Personal Interview.

Test for the Clerical post:

Eligibility:

Candidates appearing for the test for Clerical post must be of age below 28 years as on 1 February 2013. The age limit will be relaxed by 5 years for SC/ ST candidates. Applicants should have completed Graduation from any recognized Institution or University and should be computer literate and able to speak Hindi and English.

Application Fee:  Rs. 200/- (Rs.150/- in the case of SC/ST candidates)
