KEAM 2012 commences today
KEAM stands for Kerala, Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Entrance Exam. It is conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) for admission to various technical and professional courses offered by colleges and universities in Kerala.

Engineering Courses:
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.)
B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering)
B.Tech. (Dairy Science & Technology)
Architecture Course:
Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)
Medical Courses:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)
- Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS)
- Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)
Agriculture & Allied Courses:
- Bachelor of Science-Agriculture
- Bachelor of Fisheries Science (BFSc.)
- Bachelor of Science-Forestry
Veterinary Course:
Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry
Must have Eligibility
For Medical and Agricultural Courses: Aspirants who have cleared the higher secondary exam from board of Kerala or government recognized institutes with minimum 50% marks in Biology, Botany, / Biotechnology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together, are eligible for this exam. (Get to know all Medical colleges)
For Engineering Courses: Aspirants who have cleared Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or any government recognized institute, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Bio-technology/ Biology put together are eligible. (Introduce yourself to more engineering colleges)
Exam Pattern:
There will be two separate papers for Engineering and Medical and the mode of the examination is objective. There will be multiple choice questions for each section, where aspirants will be provided with 5 expected answers, of which one will be the most appropriate answer.
Each section will have 120 questions to be answered in 150 minutes.
Scheme of negative marking:
For every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted from the total score.
