Know all about AIPGDEE entrance exam 2014

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi has invited applications for admission to 50% All India Quota of Postgraduate (MDS) courses in various dental colleges across the country via All India Post-Graduate Dental Entrance Examination (AIPGDEE) 2014.

AIPGDEE 2014 is scheduled to be conducted on January 25, 2014. The last date to apply is December 31, 2014.

Eligibility:

  • Aspirants should be Indian citizen
  • They should possess a BDS degree from any of the Dental colleges recognised by Dental Council of India (DCI)
  • They must also have completed six months internship.

Exam pattern and syllabus:

  • This three hour paper (10 am - 1 pm) will encompass 200 MCQs (single answer objective type) consisting of Basic Sciences, Para-Clinical and Clinical subjects.
  • Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks
  • For every wrong answer, one mark each will be deducted
  • Zero mark will be allotted to any questions not answered
  • More than one answer indicated against a question will be deemed as incorrect answer and will be negatively marked

How to apply?

Application Fee:

  • General/OBC Category: Rs.1000/- (SC/ST Category Rs. 800/-) + Transaction charges as applicable
  • Students should pay the application fee through computer generated Challan form in any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) or online through Credit Card / Debit Card.
