I got to know that admission is based on students’ merit and a Personal Interview by the authority, says Priyanka
I had a great interest in Mathematics during my school days. So, this made me choose PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) in Class 11. I had always dreamt of my college life as we see in movies like big campus, big buildings, the best faculty, great infrastructure, activity areas, and yes modernised classrooms. I had in my mind what I want my college life to be like. And then the time came, as soon as I completed my Class 12, I started searching for my dream college.
I searched day and night but couldn’t find my dream like college and after some time I started to think that my dream college just exists in my dream and not in the real life. I started losing hope and that’s the time when I came across BFIT. I googled about it and saw the infrastructure. And within a second I had a vibe that ‘yes, that’s the kind of my college would look like.
For admission to BFIT Group of Institutions, I called the admission department and asked about the admission process. And from there I got to know that admission is based on students’ merit and a Personal Interview by the authority. This made me a bit nervous after knowing about the interview process as I have never experienced one. And I was tensed about my Class 12 percentage too because admission was based on merit.
Finally, the Class 12 results were announced and basis that I was called for the Personal Interview round. I started my preparation and alongside I was preparing all my documents that were needed at the time of admission. There was not a single problem I faced during admission time because the staff and faculty were very helpful to us.
Infrastructure
The college has a great infrastructure with greenery all around. It has big courts for various activities. There are a number of lawns for students where they can sit and enjoy their free time. A canteen facility has been set up inside the campus which provides delicious food and snacks. The campus has been set up in a sound environment, away from the city noises and pollution, and this results in a peaceful environment which is a must needed for a college student. My college has multiple seminar halls that can accommodate a large audience. Modernised library with a huge collection of course books and e-material.
Academics
The college offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Faculty has good command over their respective subjects. The faculty comes from various walks of life; some of them have great industrial experience too. The institute follows a unique teaching methodology, which is also called Applied Learning which basically means Doing what we are Learning. Regular seminars, workshops, case studies, industry visits are organised to keep us abreast of the latest trends in the industry
Value for Money/ Economical
BFIT believes that the financial condition of the family must not impact a student’s willingness to study further. And, hence the institute offers many scholarships to students basis their merit performance and need. The fee concessions and esay loan facilities are also offered to underprivileged students.
Placements
The institute’s past placement record speaks for itself. Preparing students for the corporate world begins from day one. Internship, live projects, industry visits are some of the ways to help students become industry-ready. Besides this, the corporate cell at the campus works actively throughout the year to nurture corporate relationships. Inviting eminent industrialists to campus for delivering guest lectures, conducting the mock interviews and group discussion sessions are some of the activities that the corporate cell takes care of.
BFIT has proven to be like my dream college. Besides regular curriculum, there are various college fest and cultural fest for the students development. Many celebrities are invited as performers in the fests. College aims at students’ holistic development which is needed for the outer world.
I aspire to become a Site Engineer in the government sector and hence working towards achieving the same.
