NTRUHS entrance for MD Ayurveda
NTRUHS or Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences MD (Ayurveda) entrance exam is taken by aspirants seeking admission to the Doctor of Medicine (MD) Ayurveda program offered at affiliated Ayurvedic Medical Colleges. The entrance exam this year is scheduled to be held on Sunday, October 07, 2012.
Eligibility criteria:
- The candidates should hold a BAMS degree of Dr NTR University of Health Sciences or degree of any other university/statutory body included in the 2nd schedule to the IMCC Act, 1970.
- The candidate should have completed training as internee/House Officer on or before July 31, 2012.
- For in-service candidates three years of regular service shall be calculated as on July 31, 2012.
- Candidates who are already admitted and studying MD (Ayu.) Course shall not be permitted to appear for MD (Ayu) entrance test unless they discontinue the course by remitting the bond amount and the stipend taken upto that date before submitting application form and such candidates shall submit the discontinuance certificate issued by the Head of the Institution along with the application.
- Candidates who are already holding a post graduate degree in Ayurveda in a subject shall not be eligible to appear for entrance test for admission to another PG Ayurveda course.
Exam pattern:
To be conducted in English and Telugu, the NTRUHS entrance exam shall be objective type with 200 multiple choice questions. Each question in this three-hour paper will carry half mark.
