PIMS AICET-PG Entrance Exam
Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) is a deemed University that is conducting PIMS All India Common Entrance Test for admission to its postgraduate courses in medicine and dentistry. PIMS AICET-PG 2013 is scheduled to be conducted on Jan 19, 2013 from 2 pm to 5 pm.
There are four exam centres:
- Delhi,
- Mumbai,
- Pune, and
- Loni, Ghaziabad (where the institute is located).
The students who will successfully crack the exam will be eligible for admission to the MD, MS, and Diploma programmes offered by the Rural Medical College of PIMS, as well as the MDS programme offered by the Rural Dental College of PIMS. Both the colleges are approved by the UGC, MCI and DCI.
The annual intake of the Rural Medical College is 75, whereas the intake of Rural Dental College is 22.
In medicine, degree programmes in different specializations have a total intake of 56, while the diploma programmes in different specializations have a total intake of 19. The intake for different specializations is as follows:

The result of the exam will be announced on the official website of PIMS on February 18, 2013 at 10 am. The counseling for MD, MS, and Diploma programmes in Medicine will be conducted on March 19, 2013 and the counseling for MDS programme will be conducted on March 20, 2013.
The classes for the programmes will commence on May 2, 2013.
