SVIMSET for admission to MD programmes
SVIMSET is an entrance test conducted by Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS), Tirupati for admissions to Doctor of Medicine (MD) programs offered in various departments at the institute.
The exam this year is scheduled to be conducted on Friday, February 08, 2013.
Eligibility:
- Aspirants must have passed MBBS course from a medical college recognised by MCI and should also have completed internship at the time of applying.
- The candidates who will be completing internship on or before 31/03/2013 are also eligible to apply, provided that the candidate submits the certificate mentioned in the application filled and certified by the principal/dean and the declaration signed by the candidate.
Exam pattern:
- A 90-minute exam, SVIMSET 2013 encompasses 100 single best response type MCQs and is common to all post-graduate courses.
- The syllabus for the exam will be at par with the MBBS syllabus comprising pre-clinical, Para-clinical & clinical subjects.

- Each question will be one best/ correct response type having four alternatives.
- More than one answer indicated against a question will be deemed as incorrect response.
- Each answer with correct response shall be awarded one mark.
- Zero mark will be given for the questions not answered.
