UPTAC Seat Allotment Step-by-Step Allotment Process
Step 1. Registration & Document Upload: Candidates register online, pay the mentioned fee, and upload documents, followed by virtual verification on the official website.
Step 2. Document Verification: Virtual reporting centres verify the uploaded documents. Any discrepancies may lead to cancellation or delay in allotment.
Step 3. Choice Filling & Locking: Candidates access their dashboard to select, reorder, or modify college and course preferences. Final submissions must be locked before the deadline
Step 4: Round-Wise Allotment Overview: Seats are allotted purely based on rank, reservation criteria, preferences, and availability. After each round, candidates must respond with their willingness and confirm acceptance. Candidates can either freeze, float or withdraw. Freeze implies that the candidate has secured this seat and no further upgrades are required. Float means to keep the seat but remain eligible for higher-preference upgrades in subsequent rounds. The candidate can choose to withdraw, which implies opting out, and the fee will be refunded under specific norms.
