Your Checklist for JEE Advanced

With JEE Advanced just round the corner, it’s time to gear up for the last stepping stone to IIT entrance. Here's important stuff you need to know and keep in mind.
Admit cards:
- Carry your Admit Card for verification at the time of examination, along with at least one original photo identification card (e.g.: School/College ID, Driving License, Passport, PAN card. Voter ID, Aadhaar-UID, etc).
- Your Admit Card is valid only if your photograph and signature images are legibly printed. Print this on an A4 size paper, preferably using colour printer.
Time check:
- You should occupy your allotted seats 20 minutes before the scheduled start of the exam.
- You will not be allowed to enter the examination hall 30 minutes after the commencement of the exam.
- You will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of exam.
Some other pointers:
- Carry along black ink ballpoint pens.
- Mobile phones and calculators or any other Electronic gadgets are NOT ALLOWED inside the examination hall. There may not be any facility for safe-keeping of your gadgets at the examination centre, so it is advisable to leave it at your residence.
Please note that violation of any rules and regulations at any stage of the examination will lead to cancellation of your candidature.
Also remember that in case if you selected 'No' for photograph at the time of JEE (Advanced)-2013 registration, then you definitely need to follow these steps:
1. Paste one of your recent photographs on a plain paper
2. Just below that write Your Name [in block letters], JEE (Advanced)-2013 Application No., JEE (Advanced) - 2013 Roll No., DOB, Address.
3. Get it verified by the Principal of the school/ Institute last attended
4. Bring it to the JEE (Advanced)-2013 centre on June 02, 2013
However, you will be allowed to appear provisionally.
Note: Even if you have selected 'No' for photograph, do not forget to complete the registration process by filling all other information. Otherwise you will not be considered as a registered candidate for JEE (Advanced) -2013.
Admission to other institutes based on JEE (Advanced) – 2013
Please note that the institutes listed below will admit students based on the JEE (Advanced) - 2013 ranks. Therefore, students should apply separately to these institutes and visit the respective websites for more details.
