GMR Aviation Academy has taken off with its first batch of three-month International Air Transport Association (IATA) courses in travel and tourism, airport operations and air cargo.

While we’ve been hearing of the aviation industry going through a turbulent phase, GMR Aviation Academy has taken off with its first batch of three-month International Air Transport Association (IATA) courses in travel and tourism, airport operations and air cargo.

GMR AA which is the aviation training arm of the GRM Group has tie-ups with ACI, IATA, ICAO and DGCA. The academy will be offering these courses by utilising the airport facilities at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (Hyderabad) for hands-on training. The academy is accredited by IATA as the authorised training centre for aviation related training programmes in India.

The global training hub for Airport Council International, GRM AA has also signed an MOU with Incheon International Airport Aviation Academy for joint development and delivery of training programmes. Those who have completed their class XII/Intermediate are eligible to apply for these courses.

GMR AA has also been accredited by DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) for conducting the Dangerous Goods Regulation trainings. GMR AA has also recently become an Associate Member of ICAO 'TRAINAIR PLUS'.
