Class 12 Maths Marks Distribution 2027: Check Weightage of Marks for CBSE, UP Board, BSEB, Maharashtra Board

The board declared the CBSE Class 12 results 2026 on May 13. The result was available online. To check the same, students need to login with the required credentials.

No, CBSE does not deduct marks for exceeding the word limit in the board exams. However, marks may be deducted for spelling mistakes and other errors in language papers. 

CBSE 12th result is announced online only. Students will not receive any notification regarding the declaration of CBSE 12th result.

If you fail in CBSE Class 12th exam in one or two subjects, they are placed in Compartment category. Students can retake those exams in July/August to pass. Failing in more than two subjects results in a 'Essential Repeat' requiring them to repeat the academic year and retake all exams.

After the release of CBSE class 12th Result 2026, students are required to collect the original mark sheet from their schools respectively. They can now apply for various professional and undergraduate courses in different universities and colleges. Delhi University offers various undergraduate programmes for students hailing from all three streams- Science, Commerce and Arts. DU admissions were earlier based on merit and entrance both. However, now students aspiring DU admission 2026, will be required to pass the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).  Students can use the Delhi University College Predictor to get an idea about the DU Colleges they can get admissions to.

In case the details mentioned in your CBSE Class 12 result are incorrect, you must contact the school officials and get them rectified. It is important to have correct details in your result, marksheet and other certificates as these are important documents and will be required at the time of admission for higher education. Colleges/universities and other institutes will not allow admission in case of incorrect details.

After clearing CBSE Class 12 Board exams, candidates can take admission in  various professional and undergraduate courses in different universities and colleges. With this marks, you can apply to the following DU colleges if you are aiming this university.

The original mark sheet of the Maharashtra HSC result will be issued by the Maharashtra HSC Board to the schools. Maharashtra HSC result mark sheet will be distributed to the students through their respective schools. Candidates have to collect the Maharashtra HSC result mark sheet from their school. The schools will notify the students accordingly. Students have to contact their schools on the given dates to collect the same.

CBSE Class 12 board result will be announced online. Students need to check their results by logging with the required credentials. The result can be accessed through IVRS, SMS and Digilocker.

To get the CBSE Class 12 result, candidates will need roll number,  school number,  admit card ID, and date of birth (as mentioned on your admit card). It can be checked online only.
