West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has announced that it has completed the evaluation process of the Class 10 answer scripts. The Board is expected to release the result for class 10 by August 2020.

West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has announced that it has completed the evaluation process of the Class 10 answer scripts. The Board is expected to release the result for class 10 by August 2020.

The WBBSE President, Kalyanmoy Ganguly said, β€œIt will take a month to complete the post-evaluation process, following which the WBBSE 10th Results 2020 will be announced by August.”

Candidates can check the result on the official site of WBBSE at wbbse.org and wbresults.nic.in. There are third party result websites as well where the result can be checked.

The WBSSE had started the West Bengal Class 10th exam on February 18 and concluded it on February 27. Around 10.15 lakh students had appeared for the Board exam out of which 5,76,009 are girls, which is 56.70 percent out of total.

WBBSE 10th Result 2020: How to check

  1. Log on to the official website of WBBSE- wbbse.org
  2. Click on WBBSE Madhyamik Pariksha Examination 2020
  3. Enter the roll number/ registration number for WBBSE Result 10th 
  4. Once you click submit, the results will be displayed on the screen
  5. Take a printout of the WB Result 2020 for future use

West Bengal 10th Result 2020 via SMS

Candidates can also check their West Bengal 10th Result via SMS also:

  • Type the following message- WB10 roll number
  • Send the message to 56070, 54242, 56263 or 58888

Meanwhile, State Education Minister Partha Chatterjee said that the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will conduct the remaining two papers of the Class 12 exam in June. The WBCHSE Class 12 exams were scheduled to be conducted from March 12 to March 27, 2020, on the state.
