IPM admissions 2016 commence at IIM Indore
The admission process for Five Year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at IIM Indore has commenced with the registrations for IPM Aptitude Test (AT). Candidates willing to appear for the exam can register for the same from March 16. The registrations will continue till April 16, 2016.
The mode of test will be computer-based, and will be conducted on May 13, 2016 in 28 cities across the nation. The final selection will be done on the basis of candidate’s overall performance in AT and Personal Interview.
Candidates registering for the exam must ensure that they comply by the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria is as follows:
- For general and Non-OBC category: The candidate should have secured a minimum of 60% in standard 10th/SSC and 12th/HSC or equivalent examinations. Also, the age of the candidate of the candidate must be maximum 20 years of age as on July 31, 2016.
- For SC, ST and PWD (DA) category: The candidate should have secured a minimum of 55% in standard 10th/SSC and 12th/HSC or equivalent examinations. Also, the age of the candidate of the candidate must be maximum 22 years of age as on July 31, 2016.
- Mathematics should have been a compulsory subject in standard 12th/ HSC or equivalent examinations.
- Candidates likely to complete standard 12th/HSC or equivalent by the end of June 30, 2016 are also eligible for applying (only if they comply by the above mentioned eligibility criteria).
Pattern of Aptitude test
- The nature of AT is objective-type. Aspirants can view sample question papers (will be uploaded on the official website of IIM Indore).
- The question paper will have two sections- Quantitative Ability and Verbal Ability.
- The total number of questions will be 100.
- The duration of the test will be two hours.
- Every question will carry 4 marks.
- There is a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer.
Candidates who successfully clear the Aptitude Test are further shortlisted for the Personal Interview.
